A Compulsory Tender Clarification Meeting will be conducted on Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, 25th January 2022 at 10h00. Tenderers who wish to participate in the compulsory briefing session must send request via email to Nonhlanhla.mafoko@transnet.net before end of business on the Monday, 24th January 2022. Tenderers are advised to download Microsoft Teams App to their PC or Mobile to be able to participate. A link will be provided for you to gain entry to the meeting. The briefing session will start punctually, and information will not be repeated for the benefits of Respondents arriving late A Compulsory Site Clarification Meeting will be conducted at 202 Anton Lembede Street, Durban CBD. Ground Floor, Parking area. on , 26th January 2022 at 09h00am. Tenderers who wish to participate must pre -register on the; Visitors and contractors link: https://dbnvisitorsreg.azurewebsites.net/ on the 25th January 2022 by close of business. Registration for the Site visit is COMPULSORY. Tenderers who have not pre -register for the site visit will not be allowed to enter the Site. [Tenderers to provide own transportation and accommodation]. Requirements for Site visit/walk: N.B: Due to the restrictions that have been put in place by the South African government with regards to covid-19 pandemic Transnet Port Terminals will ensure that the following restrictions are adhered to: • Wearing of mask (every person entering TPT premises must have a mask on) • Screening (every person entering TPT premises will be screened) • Practicing social distancing • Tenderers are required to wear safety shoes, goggles, long sleeve shirts, high visibility vests and hard hats. • All forms of firearms are prohibited on Transnet properties and premises. • The relevant persons attending the meeting must ensure that their identity documents, passports or drivers licences are on them for inspection at the access control gates Certificate of Attendance in the form set out in the Returnable Schedule T2.2-01 hereto must be completed and submitted with your Tender as proof of attendance is required for a compulsory site meeting and tender briefing. Tenderers are required to bring this Returnable Schedule T2.2-01 to the Compulsory Tender Clarification Meeting to be signed by the Employer’s Representative. Tenderers failing to attend the compulsory tender briefing will be disqualified. NOTE: It is the responsibility of the tenderer to ensure receipt of a complete RFP with specifications, drawings and annexures.
